Now that the semester is ending, it is time for retrospects and reflections, forms of analytical nostalgia. The blogs were also very useful in trying to collect and create ideas for stories or see what others are working on and what their aesthetic and writing are all about .I think i must have grown as a writer after this class. I had never written nonfiction before, it was my first attempt at trying to write stories that are true or based on "true events. I did it and am so proud of my self. This is the paragraph of my experimental piece. thione is very different compare to the other writing i have done in my non creative class.
I am writing about burial, which is what happens when a person dies in. You have to be in your late 50 and have a kid for anyone to do a burial for you when you die. That is something that Christian Nigerian do when someone in their late 50 past away. First the person body will be preserved in a refrigerator. The family decides when the body is to be preserved often the burial is for three days or seven days depending on what culture you from. I know more about the three days because that’s what my culture celebrate. Friday is the dance and Saturday is when the family of the dead carries the body to where the body would be buried. Sunday is when the thankfulness of God when the person is alive. When my grandmother past away, the husband can’t view the body. However the kids visualize the body. After church celebration the family goes to the home of the mate the wife or husband can’t dance however the kids are permitted to dance and celebrate that they parent lasted that long.
this peice thought me a great lesson because i did not think i can write experimental. I had fun when i was writing this peice because i use a different style when i was writing. i had fun with it this blog assignment.

assignment #8
Coming to the united state changed my life in the area of education. Education in the united state of America really made a positive change in my life. In my country where I came from that is Nigeria kids has to pay for high school and while in the united state high schools are free. Also my college education here in the U.S.A is better. In my country we didn’t have computer. In the U.S there is a great deal of technologies which helps me accurately and, efficiently does my work. Here in the U.S there is finical aid which doesn’t exist in Nigeria. Also there are many more major here in the united state. I am doing nursing but in fact am changing my major to food nutrition. Because I will love to learn about food nutrition, and that will also help me to watch what I eat. i choose this piece because this was one of my favorite line, letting people know that coming to this country was one of the joyful day of my life. Also letting people know that the opportunity in this country are better than where i came from. So writing this piece was a very interesting piece to me and i had so much fun writing this memoir.
assignment #7
My definition of creative non fiction has expanded in a couple of ways.I feel my writing has changed a bit, some of the assignments were right up my alley and actually gave me the opportunity to write something i had been wanting to write for a while now,and i know i'm getting a grade for it, so that was nice. Also when i first started this class i didnt think that we had to write non fiction. So the experiences that i had in this class was very wonder. Alsoeach assignment I tell a story of my life. Even though sometimes I feel as if I'm being repetitive. Also the blog really helped because when i post my writing up and having someone to comment on it was one great way of inproving my writing.I feel that my creative writing side hasn't really been developed through this class, because most of my creative writing is entirely fictional. As compared to other classes and essay writing, this is actually fun to write and this has been a very wonderful experience for me. I had a great time in this class.

ASSIGNMENT #5
I am responding to the story Angela’s Ashes is a Pulitzer-Prize winning memoir written by Frank McCourt. The struggles he and his family went through while living in poverty-stricken Ireland is a very sad thing to go through but him and his family want through it. I like this story very much because easy to see that the McCourt’s are poorer than most of the other local families. Also, children can be very harsh sometimes and tease about others that are less fortunate. In this particular chapter of Angela’s Ashes the author is still a child and that is made evident through his writing. He asks his parents questions about life and is curious about adult life, or as he calls them, “Big People”. He really wants to know was going on in life. He is also a very smart child to me. He was carouse about knowing a lot of things. I think this was a very successful and best-selling memoir that I have read. I feel like Frank McCourt wins over the audience because he is a helpless child while living in very poor conditions in Ireland. And people are curious to know about thing like that and what’s going to happened next. So I think he did a very great job. What is also interesting is that their family used to live in Brooklyn, New York before moving to Ireland
ASSIGNMENT #6
i wrote about one of my favorite club that i love to go to. As we are walking we see so many people walking, you see different fashion. Boys dressed the way they want and girls dressed the way they want to. And once you’re done with them they let you in and you see different light going off and on, entertainment venue which usually operates late into the DJ booth, where a DJ plays recorded. Music is very loud and people jumping around and yelling across the room. You see the D.J on one side, a bar on the other side. Also what’s amazing about the place is that they have four floors with different activities going on different music each floor. One floor has reggae music, another floor with techno music, another hip hop and another one is call what you hear on the radio. You also se different cultures around the club, people from another culture talking to somebody from another culture. You see different color of light circling around the room. these where the amazing thought about the club. i wrote about the club because it looked very different compare to the other one's i attend.

assignment #2
The short story am writing about is “Inherit the earth/The Things They Carried the short is talking about immigrant crossing the Mexico border what they go throw when they are trying to crossing the border. People die while they are trying to cross the Mexico border. The people that cross the border they take a lot of unnecessary things with them fake ticket also they take fake ticket with them. Example from the text “to speak of an immigrant’s plight only in term of desperations fails to honor his or her full humanity”. What this statement is saying is that lot of immigrant is very desperate to cross the border and they die from all the heat that they have to go through to cross. So people are willing to take any risk just to get where they want to get to. Immigrants go through a lot something I think should be done about that. Also as describe in the short story “humane boarder provides water to address the immediate emergency, but its ultimate goal is, with other groups, to force changes in U.S. immigration policy-to “take death out of the migration equation, “as Hoover puts. Immigrate really wants the U.S. to come up with something for them to be able to cross the borders without any trouble. They want thing to be easier for them. Also immigrate want the death do be cut down people should not die just because they are trying to get across the border. I thing the story was original. I really like this story because is telling us want immigrate go through when they are trying to cross the Mexico border.
